Diesel is up by 60 percent, our landfill cost is up by 20 percent, tire pricing, oil cost and the cost of living for our employees has also increased. Constable Sanitation has avoided using surcharges for 13 years. With the way the economy is fluctuating from month to month, we have made the difficult decision to begin implementing surcharges.
