Please wait until after 7 p.m. on your pickup day to report a missed pickup. If any items were missed, please call our office by phone at 816-204-1192.

RESIDENTS SERVICED ON FRIDAY: Please wait until after 7 pm on Friday (Saturday on a holiday week) to report your trash as missed. If your trash is missed please call 816-204-1192 and leave a voicemail by selecting the dedicated Warrensburg voicemail box when prompted. We check this dedicated missed pickup line at 10 am on Saturday (Sunday on holiday weeks) and will dispatch a driver out that day to collect the missed item. Someone from our office will follow up with you on Monday to make sure your item was picked up over the weekend.

Please note that Friday missed pickups include the following:

  • All residential alley ways in the City of Warrensburg
  • All downtown City of Warrensburg sidewalk trash and recycling receptacles

As part of your regular rate, you will receive one trash cart and one recycling cart mid to end of February. The cart will be delivered directly to your home. You do not need to contact the City or Constable Sanitation to schedule the delivery.

One Large Bulk Item Pickup will be the 3rd pick up day of every month. Visit our bulk page to view your one item pick up day. You do not need to contact our office to schedule a large item pickup. Please visit our large item pickup page for more details.

Constable Sanitation will provide each household with a 96-gallon trash bin and a 96-gallon recycling bin.

Constable Sanitation will pick up 8 bags of trash per week which a 96-gallon cart holds 6 bags, trash is to be in trash bags and sealed before being put into trash cart.

Carts should be placed at the street curb with wheels toward the house and 3 feet apart from other carts or obstacles

Please set out all carts either the night before or by 7 AM on your pickup day.

The lid on the cart is to be closed with no bags or items placed on top of the lid.  These items will fall off when the automatic arm on the truck lifts the cart.  Extra bags should not be placed in personal containers. Extra bags should be placed a few feet away from the cart. Help us keep Warrensburg clean and prevent animals from opening bags and creating litter by setting out bags that do not fit in the container in the morning rather than the night before.

All boxes must be broken down, no glass, no styrofoam.  Acceptable items are plastics #1-5 and #7, metal and aluminum cans, cardboard, and mixed paper.  Please make sure all recyclables are clean, rinsed and broken down to fit inside the bin together. Yard waste is provided year-round. Yard waste includes grass clippings, leaves, vines, hedges and shrub trimmings, tree trimmings, and tree limbs. Residents may bundle limbs with twine or rope (bundle dimensions must not exceed 3 feet in length and 2 feet width.) Yard waste does not include rock or dirt. Brown compost yard waste bags can be purchased at Walmart, Ace Hardware or Lowes. Please make sure your yard waste bags are 30 pounds or less in weight to ensure we can collect the bags without the risk of the bag breaking open at the curb.

Constable Sanitation is committed to helping residents dispose of any yard waste items that do not fit within the regulations above.
